Cory Smith Interim Head Coach - Varsity
2010 marks the first year for Cory as interim head coach. As an assistant varsity coach at Mercer Island for the past 3 years, Cory is a 1994 graduate of Inglemoor High School before receiving a BA in Psychology and minor in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University. He received a Master’s in Teaching with Certification from City U. of Seattle. His family remains in the Northshore area where Cory is a substitute teacher and coach by day. He coaches football at Woodinville HS and has been coaching baseball for over 11 years from Junior High through college levels.
Cory was an all-Kingco shortstop at Inglemoor before playing at Edmonds CC, Oklahoma State, New Mexico State, and then 3 years in the minor leagues. In his junior year at NMSU versus University of Pacific, he proudly remembers the following line: 8 for 8, 3 HRs, 12 RBIs, 3 2Bs, 7 Runs, & 19 Total bases. Cory’s hobbies are watching movies, playing hoops, and lifting weights. His music tastes are varied, with leanings to R & B, Rap, and Classic Rock. His favorite Movie is Tombstone (1995), closely followed by The Natural & Goodfellas.

| Brian Cook Pitching Coach - Varsity
Brian returns for his fourth year as a pitching coach in the MI program. A 1994 graduate of Nathan Hale, where he was a four year letterman and all league as a sophomore and junior he played two years at Bellevue Community College and 2 years at the University of Hawaii at Hilo where he majored in Geography. He played two years of semi-pro baseball before ending his career. Since then he has been active in active in youth baseball with various teams.
Brian works as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist for Loan Services, Inc. His Father and Mother, Bev and Bill Cook still live in Seattle.

| Jordan Seiber Assistant Coach - Varsity
Coach Seiber was a 4 time letter winner, 3 year captain, and 3 time team MVP at Tyee High School. His collegiate highlights include: Captain of 2003 NWAACC North Division Champion Bellevue CC, named University of the Pacific Captain (2004) while leading the team in doubles & RBI, and named to Texas Collegiate League All-Star Classic, Home Run Derby, and Futures Game in leagues inaugural season of 2004. He is currently Head Coach of the Washington Warriors Mickey Mantle team. Jordan's most recent coaching experience was with Baden Baseball 18u, and has coached various other 14-18u summer programs over the past years. He has competed with and against current MLB players Tim Lincecum, Jared Weaver, Troy Tulowitztki, and Evan Longoria, and Brandon Morrow, and many others.
Currently working with the Seattle Mariners, Jordan and his wife Lindsay just had their first child, Brayden, in June of 2009.
